This is my 18th year at Valley Springs High School. I currently teach Middle School Phys. Ed and a High School Phys. Ed. class. I am also the girls basketball coach for grades 4th-12th.
After finishing my college basketball playing career at the University of Arkansas, I was an assistant at New Mexico State University for a year. I worked for the head coach, John Sutherland, who recruited me to play at Arkansas. Then, due to missing home and family, I moved to an assistant coach position at the University of Tulsa. Due to the loss of my husband's father in a tragic boating accident, we decided to move to his home town of Harrison. I assisted at NorthArk for a year before becoming the head coach at Valley Springs.
My husband is Quincy Jenkins of Harrison. We have been married since August of 1997. We have two boys, Lawson who is 16 years old and Connor who is 12 years old. Both boys are proud Valley Springs Tigers! We have a dog named Roscoe!
I love to read and travel. If all my dreams come true, I will retire to the beach someday!
