I attended College at University of Central Arkansas and graduated with a degree as an Educational Specialist.

I have attended educational workshops in various areas including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Behavior Management, Attention Deficit Disorder, Literacy, Math, Poverty and its impact on children and families, RISE and how phonemic awareness improves reading skills.
I started my career as a special education teacher in 1980 at Harrison. This year is my 4th year with Valley Springs School District. I currently teach Math and Literacy in a special education setting at valley Springs Middle Scho

My 1 year at Vantage Point gave me a new insight on behavioral issues with children.
I have 38 years of Special Education teaching experience that I have a passion for the needs of students who need a little extra help with their education.
I love to read, spend time with family, and spend time on the Buffalo River in the summer.
