I graduated from Western Grove High in 2000. I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Arkansas Tech University in December of 2004. I began my teacher career in the Seacy County School District. I have taught elementary special education, 3rd grade, 7th grade literacy and social studies, and was the K-3 literacy specialist for many years. During those years, I earned my Master’s in Readings to become a reading specialist and my National Board Certification.
I began teaching at Valley Springs Elementary in the fall of 2017. I currently teach 3rd grade literacy. I focus on the areas of Reading Foundational skills (such as phonics, fluency, and vocabulary), Reading and Writing in the literary area.
I began teaching in December of 04. I have taught special education, 3rd grade, and 7th grade. I have also been a K-3 literacy specialist.
I am married to Jeff Farmer and together we have 3 kiddos: Kylee, Kenley and Brantley.
I like to spend my time with my family and friends.
