I grew up in Lead Hill, moved to St. Louis at beginning of 10th grade. My degree is in Fisheries and Wildlife from the University of Missouri-Columbia, 1985.
Upon graduation I did a stint with the Peace Corps in Kenya, East Africa.
My education degree was earned at what is now Missouri State in 1988.
National Board Certification in 2002, currently on my second 10-year term as a NBCT.
This is my first year at Valley Springs but my 30th year as a science teacher in Arkansas.
Most recently 15 years at Parkview Art Science Magnet high school in Little Rock.
