The Valley Springs School District(really Dr. Mallett) encourages students and staff in grades K-12 and staff to wear their
Halloween costumes on Friday, October 31, 2025. We ask that your costumes follow the
guidelines below. If your costume does not meet these guidelines, then you will be asked to
change. Let’s continue to make this a fun tradition at Valley Springs.

SENIORS - time to order your cap and gown.... here is a message from Jostens'...Jostens will be closing the Fall Order Program for your school this week and transitioning to the Spring Order Program.
To ensure students receive the best payment options available, please encourage them to place their graduation orders online by midnight on Wednesday, October 29th. Orders can be submitted online through www.jostens.com
Once the transition to the Spring Program is completed, orders will still be accepted; however, full payment will be required at the time of purchase. There also may be some items that will no longer be available for purchase, such as the tankard if available for your school. This transition will not change the price of the cap and gown unit at this time.

Game Time Change Jasper Jr. High Tournament: Wednesday (10/29/25) the VS Jr. Girls & Jr. Boys Basketball Teams will play back to back. The Jr. Girls will play at 4:30 p.m. with the Jr. Boys playing immediately after . Go Tigers and Lady Tigers!!!!

Ozark Opportunities is offering help with electric bills, weatherization, heating etc. —potentially up to $6,000 a year for families who qualify. Most households with students on free lunch will likely be eligible once the application is filled out.

Fall Festival Tonight (10/27/25) from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the cafetorium. Lots of games, prizes and fun!!!!
