Important Information about Future Ready Assessments for Arkansas Students in grades 9-12 will be coming home this week with students. Students will also be meeting with the high school counselor and other staff to make sure students choose what is best for their future pathway. Students must choose by Dec 1st. Google forms will be emailed out later this week.

Halloween costumes on Friday, October 31, 2025. We ask that your costumes follow the
guidelines below. If your costume does not meet these guidelines, then you will be asked to
change. Let’s continue to make this a fun tradition at Valley Springs.
Halloween Costume Guidelines for Valley Springs School:
1. All costumes must follow dress code and be appropriately themed for school.
2. No weapons of any kind.
3. No fake blood, guts, or body parts.
4. No inflatable costumes.
5. No face masks or full face paint. We must be able to recognize students’ faces for safety
reasons.
6. Students must come to school in costume. We will not use educational time to get in
costume. Please do not send face paint, glitter, etc. to school.
