The Valley Springs School District will be administering the ATLAS exam to all students in grades 3 through 10 this spring. Here is a letter from the Arkansas Secretary of Education about the exams. Let's all work together to help our students be successful!

Miss Valley Springs Pageant applications have been sent home to students this week. If your young lady is interested in competing, return completed forms to school by 3/11/25. 11th graders will take the ACT tomorrow. Please make sure your student has a signed consent form to test. ( forms were emailed to students)
We are excited to see everyone back at school tomorrow! Don't forget about testing this week. Tuesday is the ACT for all 11th graders. Friday is the Workkeys exam for all Seniors. Mon, Wed, and Thurs are the Atlas interims for grades 9 and 10.

The snow has finally started to fall harder, so I guess the weather man was partially right. We will see how correct he was in the morning. There will be no school for Valley Springs tomorrow, February 19. Enjoy your snow day!
Well the weatherman has predicted 0-24 inches of snow for tomorrow and Wednesday. The snow is coming and the timing is hard to predict. We don't want to risk the safety of our students or staff. Therefore, Valley Springs will not be in school tomorrow, February, 18.
School will be closed tomorrow, February 17, 2025 in observance of President's Day and to deep clean our buildings. Have a fun and safe day off!

Progress Reports for Middle School for the 3rd 9 weeks will be handed out to students today. Reminder: This is a Progress Report and we have about 4 weeks left to improve on those grades. Please check with your students about their current grades on these reports. If you have questions about a particular grade, please contact that teacher. You can also view this Progress Report on HAC. They will need to be signed and returned to school. Please return these by Monday, February 17, 2025. Thank you and Go Tigers!
